Magister armhook squid is a wonderful delicacy harvested in the Russian Far East, the Sea of Okhotsk, the Bering Sea, the Sea of Japan, at the Pacific Ocean side of northern and middle Kuril Islands. Squid fillet is remarkably easy to cook – there is no need to clean and peel it, which thus reduces the processing time. Magister armhook squid will dress up any table and introduce some variety both in the every-day and the festive menu. The flesh of these molluscs is juicy and soft, it is highly appreciated all over the world not only because of its excellent flavor, but also its beneficial properties. It has many useful substances and vitamins: protein, amino acids, vitamins С, В1, В2, В6, В9, РР, Е, phosphorus, iron, copper, iodine, magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, zinc and selenium. Moreover, squid flesh does not contain cholesterol.
